Hi. Welcome to my blog. Allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my life and what I'll be blogging about.

My name is Hillary Thompson. I live in northern Indiana with my husband and 5 kids. I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home Mom, so my days are full and at times chaotic. I have always been a crafty person. If I can make it, I will always choose to do so over purchasing a finished product. I love all things handmade.

Some of my hobbies include... doing crafts with my kids, cross stitch, embroidery, sewing, painting, drawing, jewelry making, but my passion is Crocheting!

I learned how to crochet at around 10 yrs old. I started with basic stitches and learned a lot from library books. (Yep, I'm showing my age there...) I lost interest as a teenager but picked up my hooks again after the birth of my first son in 2003. I made him a simple double crochet blanket, that we still have and use. I have crocheted almost every day since then.

A friend of mine helped me set up a Facebook page where I sold finished items for a few years. Now I'm focusing more on pattern designing and hope one day to be published. I have a Ravelry Shop where I sell my patterns. You can follow me on my Facebook page and on Instagram.

This blog will focus mainly on crochet. I will offer tips and tricks, free patterns, share my latest projects and even have some fun giveaways and contests. I will also share funny Mom moments and crafts that I like to do with my kids. Basically if you're a Mom with a sense of humor and a need for crafts... this blog is going to be right up your alley!
